Using A Regular SLR

This year I started getting into film photography, I got to borrow my sister's Nikon SLR the first rolls that I got was  2 Kodak-100 36 shots rolls plus my brother gave me this handy lens thingy which is called filters, I got a blue one, regular,blur edge/center yey! My first test using SLR was not great most of the shots were blank and some of the shots were too dimmed. The Second try was better but I the shots were blurred and again, dimmed. So I have to practice more to get good crystal shots. And I am dying to have an Holga, I'm planning to buy one this year hopefully, I was amazed by the photographs that I see in the net using it. The rawness, the effects, the simple error/technique the camera brings to the photograph makes it even more exciting to print.
